Healthcare organisations must constantly work to improve their knowledge of quality control in response to increasing requirements for higher quality, shorter lead times and lower operational costs. Lean Six Sigma for Healthcare (LSSH) is part of the European ‘Leonardo da Vinci’ program. The purpose of LSSH is to make the care sector work more efficient and to improve quality with the help of Lean Six Sigma methodologies. In the project, the partners developed a Lean Six Sigma curriculum for care which secures already in the education the basis for continuous improvement of healthcare processes (click here for the skill sets). LSSH regularly organizes meetings where interesting speakers give their experiences and views on this subject. Furthermore partners organize training courses and coaching, specifically aimed at the healthcare sector, with the aim of improving quality and efficiency within healthcare.
